Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), 42-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Dixie upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Stivers School for the Arts (Dayton, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Stivers School for the Arts lost 38-33 in their recent non-league bout against Western Hills (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the St. Henry Redskins (St. Henry, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Ansonia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 54-33 league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, OH).
