The Avenal Buccaneers basketball team (Avenal, CA), was overwhelmed 83-9 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA)

The Monarchs now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Charter Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Exeter will confront a Bears team coming off a 36-26 non-league loss to Parlier (Parlier, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.

The Buccaneers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Cowboys come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Riverdale was overwhelmed by Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA), 78-19, in a non-league battle.
