Belleville Tigers (Belleville, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI), 50-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Belleville upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Oxford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 50-35 non-league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI).
