Utah High School Basketball - Maeser Prep Academy trounced by Ben Lomond

The Ben Lomond Scots routed the host Maeser Prep Academy Lions basketball team by a final score of 68-29 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Scots face the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 19. Ben Lomond will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 40-33 non-league loss to Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT).

The Lions (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). The Winged Lions come into the 2A Region 17 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Rowland Hall was overwhelmed by Draper APA (Draper, UT), 86-18, in a league battle.
