The South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND), 50-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Cardinals go into the A Region 3 test with a 5-0 record.
The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Westhope/Newburg for a B District 8 test on Tuesday, December 19. Bishop Ryan will encounter a Sioux squad coming off a 59-32 non-league loss to Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Sioux record now stands at 1-5.
