With the victory, Boys Ranch upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Vega (Vega, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, January 5. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 5-13.

Next up, the Eagles play the Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, January 5. Channing will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
