The Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) basketball knocked off the host Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE), 40-27 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host First State Military Academy for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Brandywine will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-16 league loss to Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
