Illinois High School Basketball - Webber overwhelmed by Edwards County

The Edwards County Lions basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Webber Trojans to 24 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Henderson County for a non-league bout on Friday, December 22.

Next up, the Trojans play the DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Webber will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 74-33 non-league win over Elverado/Zeigler-Royalton (Elkville, IL).
