In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Russell Red Devils basketball team scored a decisive 83-33 triumph over the Fleming County Panthers.

In their next game, the Red Devils meet the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Russell will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 58-28 league win over Conner (Hebron, KY).

With the defeat, Fleming County moves to 6-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Ironton (Ironton, OH) to meet the Fighting Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 27. The Fighting Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-3.
