Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN), 59-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Hatchets host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Pocket bout on Saturday, December 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Mt. Vernon won 33-26 in their recent non-league bout against Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN)

Next up, the Rangers play the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Forest Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 39-35 non-league loss to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN).
