Utah High School Basketball - Grand County routs Merit Preparatory Academy

December 14, 2023: Springville, UT 84663

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), by a margin of 71-34.

The Red Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Piute (Junction, UT). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Piute smashed Escalante (Escalante, UT), 57-26, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tabiona for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Merit Preparatory Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 54-27 non-league win over Escalante (Escalante, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
