The Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers basketball team (Gettysburg, SD), was nudged 39-32 in Thursday's league battle with the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD)

The Pirates now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faulkton for a B Region 6 battle on Thursday, December 21.

The Battlers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Warner edged Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD), 56-28, in a league battle.
