Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) and the host Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA), saw Mt. Whitney's basketball squad wallop Liberty by a tally of 45-16.

With the victory, Mt. Whitney improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Central Valley Christian won 78-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 38-30 non-league win over Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
