Louisiana High School Basketball - Walker nips Mandeville

December 14, 2023: Walker, LA 70785

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) and the visiting Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA), saw Walker's basketball squad hold off Mandeville by a count of 57-53.

With the victory, Walker upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Southside (Youngsville, LA) to play the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Southside won 27-23 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA)

Next up, the Skippers play the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Mandeville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 60-49 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA).
