The Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), 50-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their test against River Dell (Oradell, NJ). The Golden Hawks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, River Dell was trounced by Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ), 58-36, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Wayne Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-19 non-league loss to Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
