Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY), 67-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rowan County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a District 61 bout on Monday, December 18. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Rams play the St. Joseph Central Flyers (Ironton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Raceland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
