In Thursday's non-league match, the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes basketball team scored a good 41-28 triumph over the West Jefferson Buccaneers.
In their next game, the Hurricanes meet the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 22. South Plaquemines will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
