Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), 38-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eagle Rock upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host Franklin (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Franklin lost 53-14 in their recent non-league bout against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)

Next up, the Dons play the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Verdugo Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Centurions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 48-25 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
