Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Giants confront the Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA) in a Miramonte challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Ganesha will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA).

The Lobos now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pomona for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. Workman will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-4.
