Julian Jaguars (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bowen Boilermakers (Chicago, IL), 14-9 in a league bout.

With the win, Julian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Richards won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL)

Next up, the Boilermakers play the Orr Spartans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Bowen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 56-24 non-league loss to Little Village (Chicago, IL).
