Creekside Christian Academy Cougars (McDonough, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Creekside Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Seminoles play the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 34-31 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA).
