Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), 39-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastern Hancock upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Royals travel to Blackford (Hartford City, IN) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Blackford won 71-22 in their recent league bout against Elwood (Elwood, IN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN) in a bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Knightstown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 35-32 non-league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN).
