The Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 67-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record.
The Cougars now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Newark Memorial will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 48-42 non-league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Gaels record now stands at 6-3.
