In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Morgan City Tigers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, South Terrebonne nudged A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Hurricanes (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Rebels come into the Division II District 7 battle with a 4-2 record.
