The Pacific Ridge Firebirds held off the host Valley Center Jaguars soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Firebirds now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Foothills Christian for a Coastal match on Tuesday, January 9.
With the loss, Valley Center drops to 2-5 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Chieftains in a non-league match on Saturday, December 16.
