The Nevada Blue Jays basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Acorn Tigers to 63 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Jays now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kirby for a 1A Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 17. Nevada will confront a Trojans team coming off a 55-27 non-league win over Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Acorn will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR).
