In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots basketball team scored a big 70-32 triumph over the Appalachian Christian .
The Patriots (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, New Covenant smashed Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA), 65-40, in a non-league contest.
