Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Covington Owls (Covington, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Owls come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 48-30 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TX).

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Abbott (Abbott, TX). The Panthers come into the 1A Region IV District 26 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Abbott bounced Morgan (Morgan, TX), 69-24, in a non-league test.
