In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Blazer Tomcats basketball team scored a close 66-60 triumph over the Archbishop Alter Knights.

The Tomcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Woodford County was tipped by Male (Louisville, KY), 55-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Archbishop Alter will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
