Louisiana High School Basketball - Archbishop Shaw nips Jesuit

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Shaw Eagles basketball team scored a close 52-50 win over the Jesuit Blue Jays.

The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Catholic edged Hahnville (Boutte, LA), 64-23, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Jays battle the De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Jesuit will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Cavalier come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA).
