In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Belt Huskies basketball team scored a good 70-52 triumph over the Chinook Beeters.

The Huskies (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT). The Miners go into the C District 8 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Centerville was toppled by Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT), 62-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Beeters confront the Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Chinook will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Longhorns go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Grass Range/Winnett (Grass Range, MT).
