Texas High School Basketball - Hamlin holds off Benjamin

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hamlin Pied Pipers basketball team scored a close 48-41 triumph over the Benjamin Mustangs.

The Pied Pipers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Jaybirds go into the 1A Region II District 15 contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Woodson Cowboys (Woodson, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Benjamin will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Cowboys go into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 40-32 non-league win over Midway (Henrietta, TX).
