The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) and the visiting Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK), observed Okemah's basketball team knock off Bristow by a score of 71-56.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oktaha (Oktaha, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Oktaha was knocked off by Stigler (Stigler, OK), 47-39, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Bristow falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK) to play the Demons in a Tulsa Seven bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Perkins-Tryon lost 42-29 in their recent non-league bout against Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK)
