In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Brooke Point Black Hawks basketball team scored a close 63-62 triumph over the New Hope Academy Regional Tigers.
The Black Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians go into the Commonwealth contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Stafford was tipped by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 54-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lanham Christian Lions (Lanham, MD) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 15. New Hope Academy Regional will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 57-45 non-league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD).
