Ohio High School Basketball - Brush nips Lakewood

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH) and the visiting Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH), observed Brush's basketball team edge Lakewood by a score of 51-45.

The Arcs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bedford (Bedford, OH). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Bedford was tipped by Warrensville Heights (Warrensville, OH), 55-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) in a Cleveland West challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 57-54 league loss to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH).
