In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Van Vandals basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Burnet Bulldogs.
The Vandals (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill was topped by Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX), 69-65, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Burnet will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Blanco (Blanco, TX).
