Kentucky High School Basketball - Jeffersontown thwarts Butler County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), observed Jeffersontown's basketball team knock off Butler County by a score of 81-72.

The Chargers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Spencer County dropped by DeSales (Louisville, KY), 72-70, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Butler County will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 82-29 non-league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY).
