In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans basketball team scored a big 81-48 triumph over the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes.

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers go into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Elk Grove was trounced by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 50-16, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Marian Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Conquerors go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 66-44 league win over Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL).
