Georgia High School Basketball - Central Gwinnett crushes Therrell

December 14, 2024: Lawrenceville, GA 30045

The Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Therrell Panthers (Atlanta, GA), 79-45 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Black Knights now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Collins Hill for a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Monday, December 16. Central Gwinnett will play a Eagles team coming off a 86-71 league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Therrell falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Douglass (Atlanta, GA) to play the Astros in a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Douglass won 66-42 in their recent non-league bout against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA)
