The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) and the host Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS), observed Clarkdale's basketball team overwhelm Raleigh by a score of 72-28.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Stringer trounced Puckett (Puckett, MS), 51-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) in a 2A Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Raleigh will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 74-33 non-league win over Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS).
