Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), 61-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Clinton Prairie advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Gophers travel to Frontier (Chalmers, IN) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 3-2. Frontier won 50-40 in their recent non-league match against Caston (Fulton, IN)

The Stars now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southmont for a Sagamore match on Friday, December 20. Western Boone will face a Mounties squad coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Mounties record now stands at 5-1.
