The Cadets (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Fairfield will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
