The Dora Coyotes basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Corona/Vaughn Cardinals to 38 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Coyotes now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Capitan for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Dora will confront a Tigers team coming off a 81-48 non-league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Corona/Vaughn falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-4. Wagon Mound lost 77-49 in their recent non-league game against Springer (Springer, NM)
