In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Spring Valley Cardinals basketball team scored a good 43-32 triumph over the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colfax (Colfax, WI). The Vikings go into the Dunn-St. Croix contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Colfax topped Boyceville (Boyceville, WI), 70-61, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates (Fountain City, WI) in a Dairyland - Small contest, on Monday, December 16. Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 77-72 non-league win over Whitehall (Whitehall, WI).
