The El Campo Ricebirds basketball squad (El Campo, TX), was outscored 51-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX)

With the victory, Sealy advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX) to meet the Shorthorns in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Shorthorns enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Schulenburg lost 51-43 in their recent non-league battle against El Campo (El Campo, TX)

The Ricebirds now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Needville for a 4A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, December 17. El Campo will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-7.
