The Fort Sumner/House bounced the visiting Newcomb Skyhawks basketball squad by a final score of 84-33 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the clash with the Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, December 19. Fort Sumner/House will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 77-49 non-league win over Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM).

The Skyhawks now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shiprock for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Newcomb will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 71-42 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-5.
