The Fort Washakie Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting HEM Miners to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Farson-Eden for a 1A Southwest game on Thursday, January 9.

With the loss, HEM falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Miners host Wheatland (Wheatland, WY) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-1. Wheatland won 48-27 in their recent non-league game against Big Horn (Big Horn, WY)
