In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Illinois Valley Cougars basketball team scored a big 64-43 triumph over the Glendale Pirates.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Prospect (Prospect, OR). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Prospect was trounced by Eddyville (Eddyville, OR), 34-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Crow Cougars (Eugene, OR) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Glendale will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 60-20 non-league loss to Reedsport (Reedsport, OR).
