The Handley Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Park Crossing Thunderbirds to 59 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Talladega for a 4A Area 8 game on Tuesday, December 17. Handley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 91-68 non-league loss to Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Park Crossing falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Dothan (Dothan, AL) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 12-1. Dothan won 77-51 in their recent non-league game against Hale County (Moundville, AL)
