In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 53-52 triumph over the Harlan County Black Bears.

The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Commodores go into the District 54 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Perry County Central nipped Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 61-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Black Bears battle the Boyd Anderson Cobras (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Harlan County will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
